If you wish to change measurements on the Weight Watchers (now WW) app you have to head to their website to do it (down vote for the fact that you have to). But, once there, the UI gets very confusing.

WordCamp London 2019 – Third time’s a charm
No sooner have I got back from Belgrade, I’m on a train to London. I noted the irony of flying over my hotel as my plane came into land yesterday but a day at home between trips was appreciated.
For the third year running, I’m back for WordCamp London, an annual conference for all things WordPress, the biggest held in the UK.
But, unlike previous years, I’m not volunteering.

Privacy screen battle: 3M vs Kensington
About 18 months ago, I bought a 3M privacy screen for my Touch-bar model MacBook Pro 13″. It was one of the few (from a known brand) on the market for this model at the time. However, I’ve now also purchased a Kensington model – 50% more expensive than the 3M version. But is it any better?

WP-CLI: Best practices for your scripts
WP-CLI is a rather splendid command-line method of interacting with your WordPress site. You can use it to automate installs, update plugins and all sorts. At WordPress VIP, clients use it, in particular, to power batch updates – maybe some image compression that they’ve not done in the past, re-categorising articles, all sorts.
If you’re using WordPress and don’t use WP-CLI, I would highly recommend checking it out (especially so if you’re looking for a job in the VIP team 😉). However, this post isn’t about using it but to give recommendations on how to best write your scripts.

WordCamp talks: How to use slides
An existing WordCamp speaker and with 30 years of general IT support experience, I’ve spent more times than I wish to remember standing in front of people giving presentations. I’ve also been professionally trained on giving them and, in my spare, time perform on stage, often in front of 200+ people a night.
Even so, speaking at WordCamps can be a daunting, even terrifying, experience, no matter how many you’ve already done. So, in a series of posts, I want to share my knowledge, along with what I’ve learnt from some of my fellow speakers.And, today, I want to talk about the use of slides.
