Just over a week ago, I recieve an offer via Amazon Assistant. For those who don’t use it, Amazon Assistant is a browser plug-in that provides information on offers, orders and can make it easy to add items to your Amazon Wish List.
The offer was simple – go into Amazon Assistant at least once over 5 days and they’ll give you a £5 credit to spend. Great.
But it didn’t work.

Sorting through a cupboard recently, I stumbled across an iPod Touch that I haven’t seen for many years.
It’s a 4th Generation iPod Touch, which were made between 2010-2012. Looking at the photos on it, the first photo is dated 2012, so I’m guessing I got it around then.
What’s interesting, though, is turning it on and seeing what a great time machine it is.

My WordPress plugins have been in desperate need of a lick-of-paint when it comes to the images used on them for a while – and by “images”, I mean those used in the WordPress repository.
There are actually 2 you can provide – an avatar and a banner image. I’ll come to the banner in a bit, but I decided that I needed a single source for the avatars, so they all had a matching design.

It’s become an on-going joke with my work colleagues that I have issues with security at airports. And no one airport has been as bad as Manchester.
I’m just back from a family holiday in Germany and we flew out from Manchester and, let’s say, they really excelled themselves this time.

Just to the right of centre on a pre-2019 Mazda 3 is the boot release button. But move further to the right there’s a second, smaller, round button. It’s not mentioned in the owner’s manual, so what it do?
