Get involved with the WordPress community and commit to the Five for the Future initiative to give back to WordPress what it gives to you as a business.
And it doesn’t have to mean doing anything with code – just being able to write documentation, translate a language or edit a video is all it takes to take part.
And, you can learn so much from that contribution aspect too.

The Jetpack WordPress plugin now comes bundled with Jetpack AI Assistant – a suite of AI powered add-ons for your site. These, however, are not free, beyond an initial trial. However, once those trial features have expired, I found that the upgrade messaging in the editor was getting in the way.

Now with added Bluesky!
I rarely run beta versions of software, let alone alpha, but that’s what I’m doing right now. Autoblue is a new, free, plugin to add Bluesky connectivity to your WordPress website.
Right now it offers 2 features – automatic posting to Bluesky from your site and integration of Bluesky replies into your site comments.

How to move your website from Wix to WordPress
Have you got a Wix website? Congratulations on signing up to a closed platform that really doesn’t want you to take YOUR data anywhere else. The good news is, if you want to take it to something a little more open and welcoming, WordPress does have a way of doing the hard work for you of getting it out of Wix.
There are other workaround available online, but they mainly involved importing via the RSS feed (which only shows limited content now) or manually copying over your page content.
The bad news – this isn’t built-in functionality. The good news – it’s free and relatively painless to do.
