A while ago I talked about how you should support your local high street games retailer and, in particular, Game. However, after a recent experience I’m taking that back.

Support Your Local Game Store
And, by this title, I mean the bricks-and-mortar Game stores in the UK.
I used to get all my games from Amazon. However, order a game for delivery on the day of release and you’re reliant on whatever time the postman turns up – worst still, if you use Amazon Prime, they use a courier. When I pre-ordered Call of Duty : Advanced Warfare (with, let’s not forget bonus features on the first day only) it was delivered, by courier, at 8:30pm. I’d been at home all day (not to do with the game, I should add).

Replacing the hard drive in the original model PlayStation 4
The PS4 comes with a 500GB or 1TB hard drive. On paper that sounds quite generous but with individual games often taking up 10% or more of this a time, it doesn’t take the avid gamer long to fill this.

PS4 Improvements
The PS4 has been out for over a year now and a number of new features have been added in that time. There are many more that people would like to see, usually pretty big changes. But what of the small things that could be relatively easily added but really improve the experience? Here are a few that I’d like to see. Are there any little “tweaks” that you’d like to see?

What does the Microsoft Acquisition of Mojang Mean for the future of Minecraft?
Yesterday Mojang, makers of Microsoft, was bought for a cool $2.5 million. Nice. But what will this mean for the devoted legions of Minecraft fans?
For a start, the creator of Minecraft as well as the other founders are leaving and the developers are being made part of Microsoft Studios. But it’s interesting to contrast the announcements from both companies, as well as spotting what is both said and not said.
