Tom Clancy’s The Division – Useful Content

I’ve not enjoyed a game as much since Battlefield 4 (and that was released in 2014!) and have been looking for content to go along with the game. Here’s what I’ve found so far but if there’s anything you can add then please let me know via the comments!

Season Pass

First of all, like a lot of people, I’ve been burned by buying season passes up-front and the game has died soon after (Battlefront, anyone?) so I didn’t buy mine first. I’ve found the cheapest place to get the season pass now, certainly for the PS4, is CDKeys.

Useful Sites

Community Intelligence – an official site with news, leaderboards and details about your player.

Ubisoft Club – this is the site linked to from the game where you can pick up rewards

The Division ID – create a Division ID to add to forum signatures, etc.

What game these days comes with it’s own Wiki? There are two decent ones available for The Division – one from Wikia and the other from Gamepedia.

The Division is also on social media, useful for news updates – Facebook and Twitter.

The Music

The soundtrack of the game (which is awesome) is available. Sadly, the physical CD is only available in the UK via import, but you can get it digitally. Here it is, from Amazon.

The Film

A 30 minute live-action film, covering the events before the game, was made. It’s not too bad with lots of nods to the game.

You can watch it as one film in the UK via Amazon Prime, so you need a subscription to that, but then it’s free to watch. Alternatively, it’s available, in parts, on YouTube for free…

Finally

The Two Scotsmen produce amazing cinematic videos on YouTube from video games. They are now working on a story, based upon The Division, and here is the rather brilliant trailer. I’m looking forward to the final product!
