Half way through the first week of  my sabbatical.

Yesterday involved some baking with Lucie – a rather lovely lemon drizzle cake (I went heavy on the lemon so it has quite a zing to it). See the image below for how it turned out! Otherwise, it was a relatively quiet day.

Today, we met one of my brother-in-laws and his wife at Chatsworth House (or rather the farm and the surrounding grounds).
