Do you like the above portrait? It’s something I’m very proud of and am using as my gaming avatar.
Sony have put together a great new tool, where you can create a personalised video of your time since you’ve owned a PlayStation 4. Simply head to the My PS4 Life site, make sure you’re signed in, and within a couple of minutes, they’ll generate one for you.
I like to dabble in competitive matches – I’ll pluck up the courage occasionally to play one but only after a little warm-up first. I’ll then only play one as, otherwise, I find the stress of them gets to me quite quickly.
However, my warm-up and then one-game method appears to be working and, this season, I’m doing far better than before. And it may be helped by the fact that I’m using 4v4 Team Deathmatch for that warm-up match.
Yes, I “main” Bastion. And, by that, I mean it’s my principal character (by a long way – 81 out of 102 hours played, at the time of writing this).
But a lot of players feel he’s overpowered and only used by “noobs”. The lack of Bastion players in competitive eSports is cited as a demonstration of this. Combine that with the often toxic environment of gaming and he can make passions run high.
At the time of writing this, anyone can download a beta version of Battlefield V and try it out. As a massive Battlefield fan, I did just this on the PS4 but, sadly, I came away very disappointed.
